The world’s most luxury phone is on its way to Malaysia

The world’s most luxury smartphone, the Vertu Ti will be arriving in Malaysia in April. The phone is handmade from 184 parts in England by a single craftsman. Every VERTU Ti is signed by the craftsman.

Vertu Ti’s casings are crafted from grade 5 titanium, a material selected to deliver strength, low weight and elegance. VERTU Ti’s titanium case is around five times stronger than other smartphones. Its 3.7″ sapphire crystal screen is the largest ever crafted by Vertu. Making the screen virtually scratchproof it has been tested to be four times stronger than other smartphones.[more…]

The symphonic sound of VERTU Ti has been achieved through a close collaboration between the acoustic experts at VERTU and Bang & Olufsen. It has been meticulously tested at Bang & Olufsen’s world-class audio facilities in Denmark with musical punctuation provided by the London Symphony Orchestra.
Vertu Ti comes with a dual core 1.7GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. There’s also an 8MP rear camera provides stunning stills and 1080p high definition video capture. Vertu Ti also features a 1.3 MP front facing Skype compliant camera, enabling video calling.

The asking price of the luxury device is estimated to start at RM33,000+ for the base model, while the full spec version with  a chassis made out of a mixture of PVD black titanium and red gold with polished ceramic accents and black leather could be priced at  RM67,000+.
