Maxis has reduced the price of their Spotify Premium service from RM14.90/month to RM9.99 for all maxis customers. MaxisONE Plan 128/158/188 customers however are given the Spotify Premium subscription for absolutely free of charge. Besides the free subscription, MaxisONE Plan 128/158/188 subscribers are also given free 15GB of music streaming via Spotify Premium.
Users can now enjoy on demand musics without relying on WiFi or the burden of using their own personal data. The 15GB data given by Maxis for this promotion is strictly for streaming audio via Spotify Premium app only and can’t be used or transferred to other services.
To subscribe, download the MyMaxis app at the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store. Once opened the app, tab on the Spotify banner, click on “I have no signed-up for Spotify before” and hit Proceed. Fill up your personal details and choose “Free Spotify Premium”. A conformation SMS will be sent to your number and you can officially use Spotify’s premium service.
If you’re already an existing Spotify Premium subscriber, you are required to cancel you subscription before activating Maxis’s free premium subscription.
Hotlink customers with internet plan of 1GB and above are also getting an extension of the Free Spotify Premium offer.
