In terms of availability, the Redmi 1S grey colour unit will be going on sale first. For Malaysia, the Redmi 1S is an improved version of its original Redmi which comes with a more proven 1.6GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
The Redmi Note that’s available in Malaysia is the high spec version that comes with a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM. It also gets 8GB of storage, a better 13MP main camera and a 5MP front unit. Its flagship Mi 3 smart phone has recently undergone a price cut to RM769.
