Sharp’s AQUOS Serie mini phone

Sharp’s AQUOS Serie mini phone

While the smartphone market is packed with a wide variety of devices, giving your hardware a differentiator is essential to remain competitive in the market. Sharp has launched its new AQUOS Serie mini SHL24 which comes with some attractive features.

Firstly, Sharp is leveraging its IGZO screen tech, and cramming a full (1080p) HD display into the 4.5-inch panel — that’s almost 490 PPI. Secondly, the device comes with its EDGEST design which features a very thin bezel, making the screen a premium one. On top of these, the phone comes with fancy and vibrant colors which easily catch your attention. In term of specification, it is not really impressive but still not too shabby either. It runs Android Jelly Bean (4.2), sports a 13-megapixel camera, 16GB of storage which is expandable with an SD card slot. It is powered with a Snapdragon (MSM8974) quad-core processor — clocked at around 2.2GHz. There is a surprise within this middle end device – it’s waterproofed to IPX57 standards!

If you are keen to own AQUOS Serie mini SHL24 , we are sorry to say that it’s currently available in Japan only. We hope to see an international release of this device in soon.
