Samsung Electronics to Start Mass-Producing Its New Galaxy Note 7 in July

Samsung Electronics is going to start mass-producing its new Galaxy Note in next month and produce about 5 million phones as a initial supply by August. Dual-Edge Display will be applied for the first time for Galaxy Note Series.

A reason why it is going to start producing new Galaxy Note one month earlier is because it wants to start selling it while introducing it at the same time. Its strategy is to have consumers’ early interests lead to actual purchase.

The Galaxy Note 7 is the first Galaxy Note series to offer dust- and water-resistance with dual-curved edges, featuring a 5.8-inch, Super AMOLED (Slim RGB) display with Quad HD (1440p) resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 823, 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64GB storage, 5MP front camera (f/1.7), 12MP back camera (f/1.7) dual-lens setup, 4,000mAh battery and USB Type-C charging. It will also have a Samsung Focus communications app with an iris scanner manufactured by Patron.
