One of the most happening IT event in the country, Malaysia IT Fair has been taking place in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur from 8th to 10th March 2013. The event has created more excitement with the presence of Fuying & Sam on the second day.

Fuying and Sam, aged 19 and 22 respectively are the new mandopop duo in Malaysia. This vocal harmony group has been given high attention by their company, Halo Music. In addition to fans’ affection, they have also become the target for the business commercials. Within a short period, they have gained TECH TITAN’s favor; and were appointed as the company brand’s ambassador.

Fuying & Sam press conference

Halo Music (M) Sdn. Bhd. has organised the Fuying & Sam <Love Protection 1.0> press conference in Empire Hotel Lounge @ Subang yesterday. Being one of the sponsors, TECH TITAN was invited to attend the event.

Fuying and Sam are the new blood in Malaysia music industry. Both of the good-looking young men have very great voice to wow the audience. <Love Protection 1.0> is their very first mini album and they wish that they will be having their 2.0, 3.0 and so on. According to the assistant manager of Halo Music, Mr. Kent Lim, Fuying and Sam are both very potential artists and he hoped that Halo Music could provide them a platform to develop their potential and showcase their talent.

Teng Bee and Josheen M, who are the director and the heroine of the mv respectively also attended the event. They shared their experience and stories with the media and audience.

The “Move to improve, let’s walk together” Walkathon was organized by The Arthritis Organization and Negeri Sembilan State Health Department in City Park, Seremban 2 on 9th September 2012. The Walkathon was held to celebrate the independent day and also the World Arthritis Day announced by the United Nation. The objective of the event was to increase public awareness on the importance of mobility in addition to live a healthy lifestyle as promoted by the Ministry of Health.

Kaspersky and Tech Titan, both companies well known in promoting computer security are now moving further. Besides stressing on a virus hassle free condition for the ICT industry, they are actively carrying out their corporate social responsibility. They were encouraging the public to have a healthy lifestyle by jointly sponsoring the Walkathon event. These companies used to emphasize on a virus free working environment, thus they encouraged the public to exercise to sweat for detoxification in order to stay in virus free health condition as well.

The State Director of Health, Dr Zailan Adnan said that the public life style which is filled with tension but lack of exercise and also the preference of instant diet has been a negative condition. Overweight and obesity are among the factors leading to heart disease and diabetes.

“Government introduces “Program Berjalan Kaki 10,000 Langkah” to change the society attitude, so that they exercise more often as well as reduce obesity problem, take care of heart’s health and reduce body weight,” said Dr Zailan Adnan.

The activity has been gaining active participation from the public. A big crowd started to gather at City Park, Seremban 2 early in the morning. They were joining the activity with great spirit. We wish that the attitude continues and more people start to put effort in concerning own health.

Kepong GANGSTER Movie Jointly Presented by Kaspersky and Tech Titan

Though Malaysian film may not be as renowned as those in other countries, some local movie-makers are giving their best effort to raise the standard and promote local films with our familiar local characteristics. It’s our great pleasure to see another local production coming soon! “Kepong Gangster” will be meeting audience in September.

Sypnosis:
“KEPONG”, a famous local Chinese gang/gangster neighbourhood, is a story about five young men whom are best friends that join a gangster and then faces the reality of gangster life with financial problem, drugs, power and so on, ending up breaking their friendship and bad consequences. Although the theme of the film mainly focus on the story of the gangster, however, it still indirectly convey a positive message to the teenage, to highlight to them not to involve in any such activities which might ruin their bright future.

I would say it’s a movie highly recommended to teenagers. Teenage is always a stage where they face a lots dilemmas especially ethical related. Being exposed to so many temptations from peers and friends, how could teens stand firmly on the right point and how are they going to say “NO” without any hesitation?

“Kepong Gangster” is going to be a good story to deliver the message to audience. “Away from violence, away from gangster”. Though the delivery method is indirect, it will impress audience more. Thanks to the production crew and artists, as well as the main sponsors Kaspersky and Tech Titan for their effort in bringing the meaningful film which employs a colorful spectrum of local to audience.
